osaka national museum of art

Here’s a couple of shots of the sculptural entrance of the Osaka National Museum of Art (国立国際美術館), located directly adjacent to the Osaka Science Museum on Nakanoshima Island. The building was designed by César Pelli (who also designed the Petronas Towers) and, other than the entrance, the entire museum is located underground. J. and I went on Saturday to see the Reconsidering Mono-ha exhibit and an exhibit of Ei-Q’s photo-dessin works.
