tapping the arowana

Just as we arrived at my door after getting back from Okayama, who should Lea and I run into but Bob, Richard, and Michelle, who quickly reminded us that it was St. Patrick’s Day. So it was down to the Blarney Stone for a few pints, and then back up to Blackpot for some of their “Special French Toast,” which goes best with a Spayside single malt. Usually these evenings end with Richard tapping on the fugu tank outside of the Blarney — a practice that we’ve affectionately come to refer to as “tapping the piranha.” This time, however, Richard managed to find himself an arowana.
