Tokyo Poetry Journal (Vol. 3)
I’m very pleased to have a new piece published in the latest issue of the Tokyo Poetry Journal, alongside fantastic work by Jerry Gordon, Jordan Smith, Samm Bennett, Taylor Mignon, and many others. “Hummingbird” is an essay about my father, Darrell DeVore, and the deep connection between his music and the poetry that he wrote, including several haiku that have been translated into Japanese. You can read Jeffrey Johnson’s introduction to the latest issue here.
And isn’t that cover fabulous?
